HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (HSE) MANAGER
Reporting to: Operations Manager (Arabian)
Description of Work:
1. Develop and implement Safety programs for the projects according to client requirements.
2. Implement & conduct training programs including orientations to all workers
3. Supervision & training of all safety engineers and inspectors
4. Handle all correspondences with clients; represent the company on all safety matters
5. Handle all skills certification programs required by clients/projects
6. Establish company standards on safety, health & environment materials, equipment, apparels, gears etc.
7. Prepare statistics & safety reports
8. Make presentations to clients and management
9. Prepare the company for ISO 14000 & OHSA

General Qualifications:
University degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university, 8 years experience in HSE for erection work of power, oil & gas, Industrial, and chemical plants including experience in HSE management positions.

Profile:
1. Must be fluent in written & spoken English
2. Middle East experience is preferred
3. Age 40 years
4. Candidate must be willing to take up long term assignment
5. Well versed with OHSAS 18001 & EMS ISO 14001 requirements
6. Knowledge of ISO 9000-2000
7. Member of reputable International Safety organization
8. Must be dynamic & independent
9. Travel a lot to jobsites
