DESKTOP TECHNICAL SUPPORT MANAGER
A senior level oppurtunity exist for a monitoring daily functions of an company-wide Client Support Services environment, in areas of problem escalation, coordinating services requests with IT Service Partners, administering user accounts, generating ad hoc reporting, coaching staff on functional and technical issues.
Requirements :
a.. Associate degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant experience in lieu of education
b.. Min 4 years of related experience
c.. Good interpersonal skills
d.. Excellent communication skills in English
e.. Able to interact with people in a pleasant manner
f.. Able to work in a high-pressured working environment and deliver under tight deadlines
DESKTOP TECHNICAL SUPPORT
A Desktop Technical Support is provides single point of contact problem determination in areas of Microsoft products, network, application system, hardware and telecommunications for a company wide client community.
Key Responsibilities :
a.. Answers, evaluates and processes incoming service requests received by : telephone; voice mail, e-mail, fax, or submitted Web requests from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking and other computer related technologies within 15 minutes.
b.. Logs and tracks calls using Helpdesk system, keeping tickets current with ustomer comments and service status.
c.. Escalates non resolved issues or service requests to senior level for problem resolution as soon as possible.
d.. Processes password requests, following and abiding by defined security policies and procedures.
e.. Maintains departmental procedures manual and keeps documentation current
f.. Reports to Supervisor
g.. Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
a.. Required certifications : Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), A+ Hardware, Microsoft System Certifications (MCSE), HDI Senior Analyst.
a.. High School, Diploma degree or equivalent
a.. 2 years of college computer related courses preferred
b.. Min 1 year of related experience
c.. Good interpersonal skills
d.. Able to interact with people in a pleasant manner
